Staff recruitment from overseas
We would like to welcome our latest group of overseas staff to New Zealand to join our T&G Family. These qualified staff bring a wealth of experience in the engineering field. Like so many businesses in New Zealand we have experienced a shortage of qualified staff and so it was necessary to recruit expertise from overseas. This has been an 18-month process working with Immigration NZ and so we are pleased that these staff are now finally arriving into NZ.
We have recruited 30 new staff members from overseas with more to follow in Early 2023. These staff will be spread out over our two Hamilton facilities and also at our Auckland Service Centre in Drury.
The increase in staff numbers helps us to reduce lead times to our customers for new equipment and also to increase production going forward over the next several years and beyond.
We look forward to our customers meeting our new team at T&G.
